La Chiquita

The interior design project for the “La Chiquita” residence is defined by a minimalist approach and a carefully curated selection of materials that bring coherence and functionality to the overall space.

The kitchen is conceived as the heart of the home, where a dark stone island takes centre stage, introducing character and texture in contrast with the white cabinetry. This interplay creates a subtle tension that strengthens the identity of the space without compromising its balanced and restrained aesthetic.

The dwelling is organised around a neutral palette dominated by whites and wood tones, resulting in a bright and calm atmosphere throughout. The selective use of wood adds warmth and material depth, softening the architectural language and enhancing spatial continuity.

These design principles remain consistent throughout the project, where formal simplicity, natural materials, and a restrained chromatic approach ensure a unified reading of the space without the need to fragment it into separate rooms.

The result is a bright and coherent home in which simplicity, material warmth, and functional clarity come together to create a serene, timeless, and carefully resolved environment.
